Plant Manager - Packaging

We are actively recruiting a Plant Manager to lead all operational activities to improve production capacity and plant-wide performance.

The Plant Manager is required to be on-site and will report to the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities include:

• Acquire an in-depth knowledge of the company’s current products and services and new product lines and services as they are introduced.
• Responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts within the plant to increase production and minimize cost outputs.
• Full budget responsibility.
• Manage and lead cross-functional production management teams through extensive collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to learn and expand knowledge with the latest glass manufacturing technology.
• Responsible for overall production management duties, including labor, safety, and quality management.
• Develop and manage strategic plans to reduce waste and overtime.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Experience managing and implementing a change management culture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Manufacturing preferred.
• Defined ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel; ERP Systems and the ability to learn in-house systems.
• Minimum five years of experience leading and managing production teams. Preferably experience in glass manufacturing.
• You are experienced working within a unionized environment
