Position: Credit Manager w/ International Collection Experience

Location: Onsite Miami, FL

Salary Range: $80K w/benefits (negotiable - depending on experience)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of corporate credit services that enable sales and minimize financial risk
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures that enhance effectiveness of credit services
• Establish and review all customer credit lines and terms; manager customer credit relations
• Final decision -making authority for credit applications

Supporting Responsibilities:

• Foster effective relationships between Credit and Sales teams
• Synthesize information from multiple channels including customers' financial statements, web-based research and on-the ground local knowledge to assess credit worthiness
• Provide weekly reports and maintain open communications with Sales teams regarding customer account status; work hand-in-hand to optimize collections
• Involve senior leadership in customer credit decision-making
• Identify and contract with third-party providers to implement collection activities
• Participate in customer visits to build and sustain relationships

Challenges and Opportunities:

• Continue to develop team in order to drive decision-making at a more local level
• Develop a more complete New Customer set-up process
• Establish a policies and procedure manual for Credit and Sales Managers
• Greater visibility to and ability to give input into Sales budgets/forecasts

Qualifications/ KSA's

• Able to build and maintain trusting relationships internally and externally
• Able to understand financial statements and draw conclusions about business practices
• Negotiation skills
• Basic accounting and financial knowledge
• Experience with product portfolio, customers and markets
• SAP Proficiency
• Customer relations skills
