Job Description
Overview


The Regional Manager is responsible for the direction and administration of the programs and services provided by the company in region. Hiring duties, supervision and client care play a critical part of this position.


Responsibilities


Hiring/Supervision
  • Directly supervises Area Managers and Clinical Coordinators.
  • Holds ultimate responsibility for the supervision, hiring and termination of regions employees.
  • Directs and coordinates major activities of the Program Managers and Clinical Coordinators.
  • Assure staff receives all State and CBC mandated training.
  • This includes:
  • Assures all hired staff meets criteria for the position they are to hold, including education, privileging and supervision.
  • Holding administrative supervisory conferences
  • Performance evaluations
  • Coordinates with Administrative Assistant to schedule necessary staff training.
  • Reviewing recommendations from the Area Managers regarding staff promotion or termination.
  • Responsible for monitoring overall performance of Area Managers and Clinical Coordinators.


Client Care


  • Ensures the delivery of quality services to the individuals in their Region.
  • Assure that programs and services are delivering care to individuals as ordered and requested by MD and referring and authorizing bodies.


Documentation/Billing


  • Follows up Area Managers to ensure all requests from QM documentation review teams in regards to submitting additional supporting material and completing note corrections.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory, certification, and licensure regulations / standards.
  • Will comply with Corporate Compliance Program policies and procedures.
  • Will comply with all Corporate policies and procedures, HIPAA guidelines, APD rules, and Medicaid state and federal guidelines


Other Duties


  • The Regional Director is responsible for the development and oversight of their programs and services to meet budget goals.
  • Maintains effective relations with APD and other community partners.
  • Operates their Region within a Budget.
  • Must maintain control of Program assets. Ensures strategic and organizational policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Is accountable for the maintenance and condition of their programs.


Qualifications


Skills/Experience:


  • Demonstrates commitment to continued professional growth and development.
  • Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems and makes rapid decisions regarding administrative issues.
  • Requires strong and appropriate supervisor relationships.
  • Must be familiar with and knowiedgeable in all CBC policies related to client care and staff requirements.
  • Requires compliance with regulations and the rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the organization's service delivery and initiating changes as required.
  • Plans and meets deadlines. Previous supervisory experience.
