MENTOR AMERICAS

Mentor Americas covers the group’s operations in North America (Mexico, Gulf of Mexico, Northeast US), Trinidad and Guyana/Surinam. The team focuses on both the delivery and execution of regional operations as well as HQ relationship management with some of our international client base. The trajectory of recent growth of the business unit in the last few years has provided a solid base on which strategic expansion plans and regional development can be built, with an individual who has both the drive and desire to take Mentor Americas to the next phase of growth. This individual is the role currently being recruited.

BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER

You will be in charge of Mentor America, a Business Unit that represents 10M$. Your will lead a small team in all aspects of the regional operations, from Business Development, Relationship Management, through to supervision of project delivery and continued support. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to identify key opportunities in the market (short/mid/long) and be able to provide the basis for development into strategic markets where Mentor has a strong value-added proposition. Management of a P&L, development of the regional teams and strong interpersonal skills will be key to the success of both the BUM as well as the actual business unit.

This position is based in Houston, Texas, with circa 30% travel to regional operations as well as other international locations.

General Role & Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)

• Robust HR Management, which includes development, and optimizing retention of current team
• Collaboration with other BUs within the Integrated Project Solutions direction
• Management& oversight of projects in the region
• Financial Forecasting and Budgeting
• Monthly & Quarterly Reporting
• Analysis of KPI’s and trends
• Development of Mid/long term Growth strategy
• Identification of opportunities within the region and positioning Mentor IMC for consultations and successful bidding
• Cost Control

Ideal Profile:

• 10+ Years working within the Oil and Gas Industry
• 8+ years working within a “resource” driven role.
• Strong background working within the International landscape
• 8+ years Business Development /Relationship Management Experience
• University Degree
• Basic French a plus
