Job Description

Planner, the Americas - Retail


  • Please note we are on a Hybrid schedule. 3 days in office, 2 will be work from home.


Overview: Partners with the Merchandising and Planning teams to provide comprehensive analysis and forecasting for the Retail Americas business including all free-standing stores, eCommerce, concessions and outlet for US, CA, MX. This position will report to the Senior Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and improve Excel templates to better assess the business and streamline processes
  • Assist in building annual sales and inventory plans to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Identify risks and opportunities to maximize sales potential and optimize inventory
  • Establish new store opening inventory targets at product category level
  • Run and oversee all weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Build and maintain seasonal OTS for all stores and product categories
  • Support Senior Planning Manager in presenting business analysis to upper management on a weekly, monthly, seasonal basis
  • Support the budget creation process, including R1 and R2 revisions
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning team on business analytics
  • Utilize historical data and current trends to develop financial plans at the store location and product category level

Skills and Requirements:

  • Passion for Christian Louboutin and a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of responsibility
  • Grasps new concepts quickly, prioritizes efficiently and is organized
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems/programs
  • Driven to learn and grow
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proactively contributes to creating a team atmosphere that is professional, flexible and enjoyable
  • Versatile; embraces change and is consistently able to develop and adapt to the needs of the business
  • Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met
  • Adheres to company policy and confidentiality
  • 3+ years of experience in planning or similar role
  • Advanced Excel knowledge as well as strong financial acumen
  • Proficient in all of Microsoft Office/Suite
  • Ideal candidate has work experience in medium sized multinational company or luxury business
  • Exudes a “no task is too big or too small” attitude, with initiative, commitment, reliability, and positivity
  • Additional language fluency is a plus

In accordance with the New York City Commission on Human Rights and in compliance with the Salary Transparency Law, Christian Louboutin envisions the general compensation range for this position to be $83k - $115k per YEAR. *This range is NOT inclusive of other forms of compensation or benefits such as commissions, overtime, discretionary bonus, health insurance, retirement savings or paid leaves of absence.
