As a Copywriter, you will be an essential part of our team, collaborating closely to evolve our brand and create impactful content that brings the Starbucks experience to life in innovative ways. Your ability to tell compelling stories and adhere to global brand standards will ensure that Starbucks consistently and effectively connects with our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
Craft brand stories and product narratives that drive the success of the Starbucks brand, while maintaining global brand standards
Develop compelling creative concepts and write copy across various channels, ensuring high-level execution
Collaborate on presentations with a persuasive flow and language that effectively links creative solutions to brand and business objectives
Provide valuable insights during production (film, photography, audio, production writing, etc.) as needed
Adapt smoothly to changes in direction, incorporating feedback to advance the work
Stay informed about creative and cultural trends, seeking opportunities to integrate them into our work and strengthen the Starbucks brand
Strategically approach creative choices, advocating for the customer and brand while pursuing project objectives
Draw inspiration from Studio projects and prioritize the end-user's experience
Understand the basics of our business and organizational structure
Achieve established goals while adapting to changing priorities
Effectively manage multiple omnichannel projects and deadlines through collaboration with fellow creatives and Studio project managers
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, engaging with others respectfully and empathetically
Cultivate strong relationships within the Studio and with cross-functional partners
Demonstrate storytelling ability and effectively present work to diverse audiences with clarity
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Proven ability to craft compelling copy for various advertising mediums, including email and social media
Strength in creative concepting and storytelling
Familiarity with integrated marketing and its components
A robust portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects
Keen eye for detail and aesthetics, staying attuned to cultural and consumer trends
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong relationship-building skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and individuals
Consistent time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines
Comfort working both independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Mac programs and productivity software
Preferred Qualifications
4-year Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience with a creative agency or in-house creative team
2+ years of concepting advertising, media, and social campaigns, including strategic concepting, film & social concepts, and storyboards
2+ years of experience developing game and UX content, and creating digital communication copy in various formats
2+ years of experience leveraging strategic insights with exceptional communication skills
2+ years of concepting and developing retail store experiences and cohesive store communication systems
