We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Program Instructor to join our Program, offering a fresh start to 16 to 21-year-old students seeking an alternative to traditional high school. In this role, you will have the chance to teach a 10-credit course, "101: Preparation for Education and Career," designed to introduce new students to college programs, services, academic success strategies, and job readiness skills.
Responsibilities
Engage and inspire students in life skills, academic success strategies, and career exploration.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that appreciates and respects diverse backgrounds.
Utilize a variety of instructional technologies, including Microsoft Office programs and learning management systems.
Develop and modify engaging course curriculum to meet the needs of at-risk, underserved young adults.
Build strong professional relationships with students and support them in overcoming barriers to success.
Effectively communicate with individuals from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience teaching related subject matter to diverse students in a high school or higher education environment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, learning management systems, and other instructional technologies.

Conditions Of Employment
This part-time position operates on a quarter-to-quarter assignment basis, with competitive salary rates based on the number of contact hours. We are dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive working environment for all, with opportunities for in-person and online instruction.
