Role Overview
As the Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of new construction commercial projects. Your expertise will be essential in managing schedules, budgets, buy-outs, staging, and the successful completion of cold shell projects. Our ideal candidate will possess an intimate knowledge of the construction process, particularly in mid-rise concrete buildings, setting them apart from traditional Project Manager roles.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with and manage sub-contractors and product vendors, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Analyze, coordinate, and monitor project plans to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Drive the project towards timely and successful completion, maintaining quality and adherence to project specifications.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 3 years' experience in construction engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in project management.
Exceptional understanding of pre-construction and construction processes specific to mid-rise concrete buildings.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, highlighting your academic and practical knowledge.
Proficiency in construction scheduling software, including Microsoft Project, to facilitate effective project planning and execution.
Previous experience working in the vibrant city of San Francisco, showcasing your familiarity with local construction dynamics.
