About Our Client
I'm currently partnered with the CFO at a global, multi-million dollar consumer goods company looking to grow their team due to organic growth and acquisitions. They have been around for 50+ years and are reinventing their brand with major investments in their space, their goal is continue the growth of the business over the course of the next 5 years! As the Corporate Controller, you will partner with the CFO and be their right-hand person to lead strategic business decisions and oversee the entire accounting function for multiple business units.

Corporate Controller Responsibilities:

• Comprehend ERP system implementation, transaction, and financial implications
• Develop process improvements and procedures with the CFO on business ricks and performance
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to develop insights and improvements to business performance
• Develop business improvements and procedures to help streamline company M&A activity
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to lead the annual audit process
• Oversee the accounting department while providing key financial information and reports to senior leadership on company activities
• Manage the entire close process to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial statements and accounting activities

The Successful Applicant

• M&A experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Manufacturing and/or CPG industry experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• 8+ years of experience in Accounting
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
