About Our Client
I am currently partnered with a household name CPG manufacturing organization located in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago near Mundelein, IL. My client is equally passionate about their product as they are about their collaborative, tight-knit culture. With the position being open to organic growth, my client is looking for a passionate accounting professional to make an immediate impact on the team!

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and analysis
• Maintain accurate and complete general ledger accounts and ensure transactions are properly recorded
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of new accounting software and systems
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure financial information is accurate and timely
• Oversee month-end close processes and reconcile balance sheet accounts

The Successful Applicant

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, including experience in financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• CPA or advanced degree preferred
