About Our Client

As they expand their finance team, they are seeking a dedicated Assistant Controller to support their financial operations.
As the Assistant Controller, you will work closely with the Controller and executive team to oversee the financial management of the organization. You will contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. • Assist in managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders as needed.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls.
• Support the coordination of audits, tax filings, and other financial activities.
• Collaborate with the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

• Management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA or MBA a plus
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Manufacturing experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry or a related field is a plus
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
