In this job, you will act as a single point of contact for the organization with assigned vendor(s) for all design vendor matters including but not limited to contract oversight and adherence, the invoice process and work with vendors on issue resolution.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

• Monitor adherence to terms, company policies and all levels of regulations to ensure contractual and payment agreements between SCE and the vendor are observed.

• Partner with the Supply Management representative to interpret contract terms, and to ensure contract compliance.

• Craft all Purchase Requisitions for Request for Proposal in the T&D business lines,and manage purchase orders. • Perform daily invoice processing; analysis on invoice status, contractual terms and authorized purchase order spend. Apply attention to detail for review of accuracy, completeness and, accurate accounting.

• Execute Quarterly Accrual process to collect completed unbilled work for accounting in accurate fiscal budget. • Utilize tools like SAP, Arriba, Excel, Citrix and Design Manager to research and validate billing information. • Act as single point of contact with assigned vendor(s) to resolve issues related to systems, access, contractual questions, billing and invoice challenges, change orders, process education and communication of design standards. • Communicate and interface on a regular and timely basis with vendors as well as intern

The essentials

• Three or more years of experience reconciling, validating and/or managing Contract Invoices.

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Communication or equivalent experience

The preferred

• Experience working in a Designer or Planner position

• Utility Industry contract management experience

• Experience in vendor management software (e.g. SAP, Ariba)

• Knowledge of Design Manager and SAP

• Knowledge of SharePoint and other database resources

• Experience working with data in a spreadsheet (Excel )

• Analytical skills, problem solving abilities, decision-making
