POSITION SUMMARY:
The Contract Service Manager is responsible for overseeing contract agreements in an assigned region. Their main tasks include ensuring compliance with agreements, minimizing risks, and maximizing business opportunities. They will collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to supervise contracts and monitor vendor performance indicators in multiple cities. Additionally, they will identify and address service issues, work with budgetary finance teams, approve vendor invoices, inspect and audit Ground Support Equipment maintenance, and manage records for stations through reporting systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: :
(Other duties may be assigned and are not limited to the following)
- Manage multiple contracts across the US, including GSE maintenance on equipment for multiple customers.
- Work closely with the VP of Business Development and internal legal counsel to review complex contracts, address legal matters, and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships, including parts distributors, off-site repair facilities, and OEM suppliers, while providing regular updates to the Supply Chain Manager
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and re-evaluate current contracts with regard to delivery and service
- Evaluate and manage contract changes, amendments, and extensions, identifying potential opportunities for utilizing insourced labor versus contract labor and conduct financial assessments of existing contracts
- Ensure the contract database is consistently accurate and current, encompassing external vendors and companies engaged in business with AES
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices related to contract management and administration.
- Monitor contract compliance, including timely maintenance response, use of CMMS software to optimize repairs and maintenance, verifying repairs are within expectations of contractual standards
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, finance, operations, and sales, to ensure contracts align with business requirements and objectives.
- Risk Assessment during station visits, understand where the opportunities lie for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: :

- Familiarity with aviation industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient CMMS systems (EBIS, AssetWorks, EAM or other Infor products)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment
- - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; 4 - 8 years related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
- Strong understanding of aviation and ground support equipment, and/or automotive fleet repair

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- No travel restrictions, position requires 50% travel
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements: Moderate physical demands are required to perform the essential functions of the position. Work effort principally involves sitting or standing for extended periods of time to perform work tasks, with intermittent periods of walking. May be exposed to repetitive motion and vision to monitor. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time and may occasionally be required to bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull or reach for objects such as parts, boxes, books, and/or office equipment. Work is performed in an office environment, relatively free of unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. May be exposed to loud noises, fumes, exhaust or other odors when on shop/factory floors.
Salary:: The expected pay rate for this position is $75,000-$90,000.00 per year. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications and/or location.
