About this Role:
The Senior Graphic Designer/Animator will collaborate with our creative team to design and execute creative content for Kinetic by Windstream. We are seeking an experienced, creative individual who has a strong design background in digital and print, but also has the ability to complete that vision with professional motion graphics and editing for online videos, social media, digital campaigns and beyond. The position reports directly to the Creative Director.
What You’ll Do:
· Collaborate with Creative Director to develop and execute campaign deliverables.
· Research retail market trends and translate into design, video, and motion graphics.
· Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Demonstrated understanding of typography, color, and layout.
· Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (I.e. After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.)
· Ability to take brand books; style guides; storyboards; scripts and translate them into impactful design and motion graphics.
· Desire to own your role on each project and see to it that all details are thought-out and executed.
· Ability to communicate and collaborate with supervisors and other designers.
· Attention to detail and meticulous organization of assets and projects.
· Must be a self-starter.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Willing to sometimes work overtime/weekends when under tight deadlines.
Do You Have:
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Motion Graphics, or another relevant field.
· Minimum of 4-6 years Graphic Design and/or Motion Graphics/Animation experience.
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (notably After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
· Working knowledge of Premiere, Maya and Final Cut Pro.
· Character animator & 3D Design skills a plus.
· Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment.
· Ability to translate concept into motion graphics.
