Marsh McLennan is currently seeking candidates for the following position. The role will be part of the Accounting Operations team and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. This role is a hybrid role at our Urbandale, Iowa.

We’ll count on you to:

• Responsible for the successful management and implementation of business improvement projects/initiatives across the business by developing an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team and building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
• Working with the Senior Management Team, develop, set the pace, and implement business transformational and continuous improvement strategy with sensitivity towards the organizational structure, commercial approach, culture, people and processes
• Outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the business in line with best practice
• Perform complex systems analysis and solution design on Billing & Payments platform and software applications within organization to help design business processes
• Continually develop tech skills - Keep abreast with the latest trends in billing and payment domains and incorporate the same into your design output
• Drive for Results - Partner with Business Operations, Information Systems and, and be a key contributor towards roadmap, application architecture, capacity, and resource planning to ensure efficient delivery of quality product
• Own the architecture and design of enterprise accounting applications. Be the enabler and champion for the team and help your team build sustainable and strong relationships across functions, including platform engineering, UX and product management
• Collaborate with the enterprise architecture and development teams to identify new tools and technologies, assure strategy alignment, and utilize common components where applicable within the application

What you’ll need to have:

• Experience in multiple, cross-functional Finance process areas
• Exceptional consulting and communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated experience in the use of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, and related approaches (Kaizens and Root Cause Analysis)
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 6+ years related experience and/or training
• Direct experience in designing and defining processes and workflow modeling across all levels (processes, sub-processes, activities, tasks, methods, and procedures)
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Commitment to producing high-quality, cutting-edge deliverables

What makes you stand out:

• 10+ years’ experience in leading large-scale Finance process improvements and automation. Domain expertise with Order to Cash (O2C/OTC) is highly preferred.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Business Process Professional (CBPP®) or Certified Business Leader (CBPL™) Qualification is highly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in high-growth and industry-leading PaaS/SaaS companies is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is highly preferred
• Experience working with multi-locations is a plus
