As a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement you will define Kellogg Work Systems (KWS) strategy and processes within the Kellogg network.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Material, Planning, Scheduling & Innovation (MPS&I) Center, Logistics, & Distribution Elements Leadership – Coach the KWS Center of Excellence systems, processes, and tools. Ensure linkages to all other KWS COEs across the Supply Chain
  • Kellogg Works System Leadership – Use the principles of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to ensure Process, Operational and ultimately Supply Chain Excellence. Coach critical systems, processes, and tools necessary to deliver Supply Chain Compelling Business Need (CBN) results, capability, and culture.
  • Community of Practice – Facilitate COPs to identify needs and jointly drive continuous improvement
  • End-to-End Value Stream Leadership – As an SME (Subject Matter Expert), you will work across the Supply Chain to identify value as defined from the internal and external customer’s perspective. In this role you will identify and eliminate Supply network losses (material and product flows, information, and inventory / cash flows) and apply standards to sustain improvements.
  • Developing Process - Defining global Kellogg current best approaches to be used in each plant to reduce project and ongoing production risks. These processes will drive operational savings and plant reliability across our sites as we eliminate losses. This role will also ensure our work processes link seamlessly to other Centers of Excellence like Reliability Management, Autonomous Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality Food Safety (QFS).


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Experience in technology or methodology trends across the industry
  • High School Diploma or GED plus extensive related experience like Project Management, developing, deploying, owning processes, cross functional and/or regional programs, plant engineering and/or plant maintenance
  • Ability to manage challenges with global program deployment in multiple regions, time zones, cultures, and languages.
  • Critical Competencies: Drive Engagement, Customer Focus, Instills Trust, Drives Results
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, communication, change management skills, and the ability to influence across levels and areas of the business
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience to understand connections between Supply Chain Centers of Excellences (COEs), ie. Supply Network, Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Continuous Improvement-Process Optimization, People Center, Distribution & Transportation, etc.
