***This is a virtual/REMOTE U.S. based role (preferred locations Charlotte, Atlanta, Plano, DC, NYC, Chicago, Boston) which will require 25-50% variable travel.

As a Manufacturing Industry Consulting Manager , you will lead functional / process project workstreams focused on engagements related to increasing clients’ operational effectiveness in one or more manufacturing functional areas, through business-focused assessments of strategy, operating models, talent, technology enablement and market dynamics.
- Sell (Sales, Marketing) – Customer Experience tool experience, e.g. SFDC
- Build (Manufacturing, Shop Floor, Industry 4.0, Supply Chain/SCM, Planning) with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Resource Planning (ERP), or Warehouse Management (WMS) tools, e.g. S/4HANA
- Design (Product engineering) w/ Produce Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, e.g. Team Center
- Administration (Finance & HR) with tool experience, e.g. SAP
- Value Realization, strategic/business case consulting, Lean 6S, continuous process improvement
- Service (Aftermarket) with tool experience, e.g. S/4
- Contribute to business development including scoping, estimating, negotiating for proposals (RFP & SOW), and/or competitive bids
- Facilitate interviews and client working sessions to understand client processes, functions, technology and business issues
- Support the creation of thought leadership, go to market plans, and contribute to white papers
- Develop successful solutions and/or transformation deployments
- Develop impactful recommendations through gathering and analyzing information to formulate and test hypotheses
- Establish lasting client relationships
- Support the development and deployment of client unique solutions to ensure positive business impact and sustainable business results
- Work closely with clients on engagements and lead functional / process / technology workstreams related to assigned functional areas
- Deliver superior customer service and results through focused client and stakeholder relationship management
- Conduct market research based on business-related hypotheses used to derive insights
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of working with Microsoft Office Product Suite including Teams, Project, and Visio
- 8+ years of experience with the functional capabilities of enterprise packages (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.)
- 8+ years of industry experience in one or more manufacturing areas outlined above (i.e. design, build, sell, or service/support)
- 3+ years Big 4 and/or boutique firm-based industry consulting experience with focus on strategy and business operations with enabling technology
- Manufacturing industry functional operations experience (OpEx/continuous improvement implementation) in factory, warehouse, production, and distribution performance metrics, KPI development, shopfloor TPM/IWS deployment, OEE/MTBF/C/O analytics, and integration of smart factory tools/solutions

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $113,000-$207,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
