As a Manager Procurement at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. Your role in our mission
- Establishes and maintains vendor databases and administers assigned categories and product codes.
- Obtains resources, quotations, and secures competitive bids for one-time goods and services.
- Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.
- Develops and manages partnerships with external vendors by negotiating purchase order contracts and subcontracts with appropriate sources of equipment, supplies, and services.
- Manages short and long-term procurement strategies designed to reduce cost and improve quality and service. Establishes policies and procedures for procurement department.
- Negotiates with vendors for the lowest costs and incentives and analyzes market price to determine the most effective procurement approach.
- Facilitates the preparation and submission of purchase order contracts with funding agencies and in accordance with organizational and agency reporting requirements.
- Measures effectiveness of operations through internal and external periodic feedback procedures. Reports feedback, recommends and implements changes as appropriate.
What we're looking for
Basic Qualifications
- Experience working with procurement practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Nine or more years of procurement management experience
- Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working with company policies and procedures
- Experience working with supply sources and pricing

The pay range for this position is $82,700.00 - $118,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
