Corporate Waste Solutions (CWS) is a woman-owned and operated small business that provides sustainable waste management solutions through analytics, innovative technologies, training, and culture change.Our priority is to provide clients with the most effective, environmentally friendly waste management solutions by following the Waste Management Hierarchy of sustainable materials management. Since our founding in 2013, CWS has successfully managed clients’ waste and recyclables while reducing their landfill usage and waste hauling costs by changing the way waste is handled.We view waste production and management differently by creating or modifying programs and the human behavior that drives them.
We are seeking a new Manager to join our team.As a Manager you will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of consultants who serve as the primary point of contact for our clients.The Manager is a strategic leader, working closely with the consultants to set goals, develop client management strategies, and provide support whenever necessary.The primary focus is to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, which ultimately contributes to the growth and profitability of the company.
THIS POSITION IS PREFERRED TO BE BASED IN THE HOUSTON AREA.MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES.
We are looking for someone that is a quick learner, highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to consultants
- Review work product
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and field studies as needed
- Research new technologies and strategies
- Manage project loads and assign all incoming projects appropriately
- Manage a small team of consultants
- Be a client liaison, building strong rapport with clients
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge, standards, and developments
- Be a subcontractor/vendor liaison, ensuring service and contract obligations are met
- Assist consultants in defining and meeting client needs and expectations
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the client experience
- Domestic travel up to 25% of the time
- Ensure strategic goals are met
- Meet with new potential clients
- Responsible for training new consultants, as well as administering ongoing training and development
- Monitor performance metrics and the overall success of client/consultant relationships
- Ensure work product meets company standards
- Maintain project budgets and timelines
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Seek and develop new vendor relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (environmental studies/sciences or related field) or 8 plus years of relative work experience.
·MUST HAVE Waste and recycling industry knowledge and work experience
- PROFICIENT in Microsoft Word/Excel/ PowerPoint
