Overview of the Role
We are looking for a dynamic professional to support our Strategic Sourcing team for Corporate and Professional Services! The Successful candidate will lead key commodities within Corporate and Professional Service (i.e. Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing etc.), and will collaborate with other commodity leads across other categories, and regions.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and growing relationships with key Salesforce partners across the region, including legal teams, finance and accounting, risk management
- Develops new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvements and efficiencies.
- Drive quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, in collaboration with key business partners and ensure supplier’s frequent reporting on service levels and key performance indicators.
- Relentlessly seeks, shares, and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside the Company and embraces change introduced by others.
- Measure supplier performance to expectation and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Develop category strategies, complete category analysis, identify and drive market intelligence in‐sights into action.
- Managing all engagements and relationships with major suppliers that support Salesforce and the Strategic Sourcing team.
- Use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
- Influencing strategies, decisions and leading complex negotiations with strategic and key suppliers, including the establishment of service levels, key performance indicators, price and term details in order to mitigate risk and increase savings.
- Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the performance of others toward goal accomplishments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience balancing immediate and long-term priorities. Meeting critical objectives while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the achieving long-term goals.
- Knowledge of contract terms, applications, and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements.
- Analytical skills to include handling and discerning data.
- Comfortable making presentations at Executive Level and establishing relationships with a broad range of internal and external customers.
- In depth knowledge of the sourcing process and competitive bidding process: working with clients, analyzing responses, developing selection criteria, and choosing appropriate suppliers (RFx).
- Knowledge of category management strategies and approach to support the objectives of Salesforce and local Business Units.
- 4+ years proven experience in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing
- Polished negotiation skills & knowledge of supplier management, segmentation and strategic sourcing practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of procurement processes related to consulting services, Statement of Work, and RFx management. Includes using financial models, industry knowledge, and the client's business requirements to develop and implement optimized business solutions.
- Ability to collect information, capture competitive intelligence information, and promote sharing across appropriate organizations. *LI-Y
- Previous experience in the Corporate and Professional services space is highly desirable.
