We are currently recruiting for a MANUFACTURING MANAGER for managing best vendor scopes of work, providing the most competitive RFP costs from the best manufacturing vendors--improving product margins and locating materials as needed. Duties Include

• Locate materials as needed to support Operations Teams and due dates. Manufacturing scheduling of product, ensure vendors are not over capacity and shipments are on time. Follow up and track PO status, ship dates and getting freight tracking information. Communicates scheduling/shipping status to Operations team.
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met.
• Collaborates with leaders and team members to manage and resolve issues and develops solutions. Helps to develop and manage internal processes for ease of workflow.
• Improve product margins on existing accounts, to include vendor selection and negotiations to obtain the highest margin possible. Improve site-specific margins as needed. Sets product cost for existing clients by part number/product type, including any new/custom product as needs arise.
• Communicating and identifying best vendors for scope(s) of work; provides competitive RFP costs from best manufacturing vendors by type and builds manufacturing vendor relationships.
• Sourcing of special product vendors to support current needs and to plan for growth and future needs; provides extensive knowledge in raw materials for the manufacturing of signs. Provides quality/performance resolution and/or solutions for product and warranty.

Requirements

• Holds sensitive / confidential information in the highest regard. Define goals that ensure company and customer satisfaction.
• Must maintain a continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products required.
• Minimum 4 years experience in signage.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
