Program Manager - Ev Consulting

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced candidate as a Program Manager for NEVI Consulting for Department of Transportation RFPs focused on electric vehicle and EV charger market analysis. Prior experience with EVs/chargers is not required however the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of working with the Department of Transportation with specific experience in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.

This position with focus on the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program and will serve as a SME for this group. You will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights, analysis, and forecasts to inform the DOT's decisions and strategies related to EV adoption and charging infrastructure development.

Job Duties

• Quality assurance for all reports, documents, information, and RFP responses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Translate highly technical information into clear and concise language that can be easily understood by non-technical personnel
• Collaborate closely with SMEs, engineers, project managers, and others to ensure all responses demonstrate company understanding of EV infrastructure
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure knowledge of latest EV standards, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
• Maintain a strict and well-organized schedule to ensure deadlines are met
• Stay informed and offer guidance on all related regulations, incentives, etc. at federal, state, and local level
• Comprehensive EV Market Analysis and EV charging infrastructure analysis
• Provide detailed and well-structured DOT RFP responses
• Thorough review and analysis of DOT RFPs

Job Requirements

• MUST HAVE experience working with DOT in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes and RFP submissions.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in market analysis with specific experience focused on transportation trends.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Prior experience with NEVI / EVs / EV chargers is not required but will be an extreme plus
