About the role
We are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on Client Finance Manager to join our team. The Client Finance Manager is responsible for partnering with account leads and the management team in overseeing all financial aspects related to clients and contracts. The position supports the coordination, counsel, and insights into the region’s key client relationships and performance. This includes advising leadership on client and vendor contracts, as well as identifying recommendations on improving client performance, via pricing and optimal resourcing.
Responsibilities
- Oversea AR collections and other Trade Working Capital metrics (WIP, Payables, Accruals) for key accounts and escalate issues as required
- Assist in project set up, ERP systems agency support (Maconomy/Mavenlink); Work with teams to ensure full timesheet compliance
- Manage internal / external client reporting and revenue recognition
- Participate in monthly revenue forecasting and analysis, working closely with account leads to gain insights
- Work with Leadership on client and vendor contracts, advising them on best business terms. Review LOA, MSA and SOWs, alongside legal and account leads
- Assist with month close activities
- Ad hoc analysis reporting and tasks as needed
- Assist with agency monthly cash forecasting
- Assist billing/AP teams coordinate with local teams to ensure all needs/requirements are being met
- Assist with client & agency audits
- Partner with senior account leads on providing deliverables in accordance with client rate cards and value
- Partner with global teams to build agency fee billing schedules per client contractual agreements and monitor fee billing to ensure it remains with client approval
- Maintain monthly profitability/GM reports and dashboards
- Prepare weekly account leadership reports. Provide recommendations for improvements in account profitability
- Work with resource planners & account leads to help drive profitability via providing advice on optimal resourcing. Link resourcing to account revenue forecasting to help manage overall team capacity
Qualifications
- Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills;
- Ability to manage large data sets and distill information into actionable analysis;
- BA in Accounting/Finance, 4-6 years relevant experience in finance/accounting; Marketing industry and/or agency experience is a plus;
- Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets or similar software;
- CPA certification preferrable;
- Proactive, creative, and independent;
- Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly;
- Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team;
- Highly analytical / self-starter; ability to think quickly (but not rashly) and prioritize;
- Experience using business analysis tools (Business Objects, Mavenlink); knowledge of Deltek Maconomy a plus;
- Well organized, deadline oriented, flexible and effective with multiple tasks;
