Finance Manager / Controller Jobs

After funding 65+ companies, deploying tens of millions in venture capital and scaling the team, we’re looking to hire even more. We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our team of passionate, genuine and intelligent individuals. The ideal candidate will report directly to our GP and be a part of our Finance team. As we continue to scale the number of investments we make and the size of the checks, you will be the go-to person for all things finance-related, and play a critical role in owning and driving our Financial Management capabilities.
What You'll Do

• Performance Reporting & Analysis – Collaborate with the investment team on fund performance reporting and analysis.
• Operational Efficiency – Manage cash flows, treasury, and banking relationships. Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and enhancing operational efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements.
• Finance, Accounting and Tax – manage and support the overall finance operations for the organization. You will partner with the Fund Ops Lead to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Fund. You will be the go-to for all fund-related accounting and finance, including capital call planning, capital account statements, calculations of subsequent closings, IRRs management fees, carried interest etc. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
• Compliance – You will maintain the highest level of compliance and reporting requirements and are responsible for the timely completion and submission of annual filing or submissions.
• Financial Planning & Analysis – you will prepare financial projections, coordinate the annual budget process, and prepare other strategy documents where necessary. Develop reports to proactively monitor the financial results and cash flows of the company to support the management team in making timely and effective decisions.

Who You Are

• Passion for technology startups and helping founders grow.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex financial data.
• Previous experience in a Finance Leadership role in a Venture Capital or a similar organization.
• Experience in managing legal documents and terms used in VCs.
• Strong financial acumen – familiarity with building models, analyzing financial statements, valuations, reading cap tables, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong written, oral, presentation and organizational skills.
