Job Description

We combine a sophisticated media buying platform with proprietary analytics to turn TV advertising into an automated, digital-like experience.

We are growing rapidly as we accelerate our mission to automate the complex landscape of managing and measuring television advertising. We have a long-term goal to make marketing on TV available to businesses of any size.


We are looking for a dynamic Client Development Manager to work directly with our Director of Client Development to drive new business growth at Tatari. In this role, you will be an integral part to all stages of the sales cycle from initial strategy and pipeline generation to deal negotiation and close. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both TV advertising, preferably a media or ad-tech company, coupled with sales experience driving new business. Willingness to work across brands & agencies.


Responsibilities:


  • Negotiate business terms with senior executives and clients
  • Brand-direct sellers are primarily focused on conquesting existing TV advertisers or high-growth digitally native advertisers.
  • Drive leads, grow pipeline, push deal progression, and meet sales quotas
  • Agency-focused sellers will be required to navigate both independent agencies and large holding companies, while working closely with the Client Services and Media Buying teams to help strategically scale existing agency relationships.
  • Understand the mindset of performance/growth marketers
  • Utilize your product and industry expertise to understand the clients' agenda/needs, and identify ways Tatari’s proprietary measurement approach can enhance their business performance
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Effectively communicate with management regarding pipeline, activities, customer needs, and other business opportunities
  • Deliver compelling and polished sales presentations and utilize effective sales techniques in order to influence target customers


Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of B2B digital or TV advertising sales experience
  • Ability to manage fast moving clients to quickly grow the business
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus (we use Hubspot)
  • Preferred, but not required, to have deep relationships with key Agency decision makers at both independent agencies & large holding companies.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations.
  • Solid understanding of TV buying and measurement landscape, for both linear and streaming; bonus for digital advertising
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years in sales-oriented role driving new business
  • Strong understanding of statistical principles
  • Demonstrated past success achieving quarterly and yearly growth revenue targets
  • Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as fostering a collaborative environment
