Job Description
  • Analysis of complex services, covering a diverse range of technologies and 3rd party suppliers, to ensure that proposed requests for change are safe and fit for purpose, including comprehensive analysis of risk, business impact & continuity, back out plans, test plans, resource requirements and availability.
  • Documenting and maintaining the Change Management policy, processes, and standards.
  • Establish, document, implement, manage and monitor the Release Management policies and processes.
  • Plan and organize a range of acceptance activities to underpin the successful release of software, hardware and associated Configuration Items.
  • Develop and present Change Management reports as required.
  • Develop, implement and maintain IT Change Management policies and procedures and ensure that the entire organization complies with the procedures.
  • Coordinate services, implement & monitor Release Plans, producing detailed timetables of events and documenting action plans.
  • Design and implement standard change procedures for the distribution and installation of patches and other routine tasks.
  • Challenge proposed requests for change to ensure that the change is robust and that the impact on and risk to the organization is minimal.
  • Manage, review, amend and close Requests for Change
  • Develop & implement Release Management procedures.
  • Communicate and manage expectations during the planning and rollout of new Releases.
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in creating communication plans
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in managing content in SharePoint Online
  • Certification in an industry recognized change management program
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in troubleshooting customer inquiries
  • Ability to support customers that possesses varying degrees of knowledge in cloud technology
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in articulating the value proposition of a change to customers
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in managing content in Confluence
  • At a minimum, 1 year of experience supporting knowledge management and content management activities
  • At a minimum, 1 year of experiencing supporting federal cloud technology transformation activities
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities of conducting user research
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities of implementing human centered design thinking and activities
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities of implementing customer centricity activities
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in developing training plans
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in resistance management
  • At a minimum, 3 years of experience supporting Organizational Change Management activities (training, communications, stakeholder management, user readiness, to name a few)
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities in working with customers to understand their requirements and deliver superior solutions
