CFO

Growing Apparel Company located in mid-town New York City is seeking an outstanding candidate with demonstrated leadership experience and a professional track record of exceptional performance in key executive financial positions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating overall corporate strategy along with top management to emphasize bottom line performance.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

- Defines the financial strategy to support over $500 million dollars in revenue

- Proactively manage cash flows in a leveraged environment

- Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve key business decisions focusing on management of working capital

- Grow equity value, increase gross profit and reduce debt

- Ensures efficient capital expenditures

- Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing business strategy

- Drive the annual budget process and the monthly reporting

- Effectively manage bank, board of directors and other financial relationships

- Manage the fiduciary responsibility of the CFO

- Structure, negotiate and finalize purchase agreements

- Effectively lead the accounting team by hiring and retaining top-grade talent

- Develop and coach existing team

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance

- Past or present CPA licensing (preferred but not required)

- Proven track record of accomplishments

- Respected and proven management skills

- Financial background in apparel manufacturing preferred

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
