Your Role
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our operations, handling inbound and outbound calls while delivering top-notch customer service. Your passion for people and your innate problem-solving abilities will shine through as you assist callers with their inquiries and concerns, ensuring one-call resolution. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you process inbound faxes and accurately input data into our advanced proprietary software.
Responsibilities
Process inbound faxes with precision, entering data into our system flawlessly.
Provide outstanding customer support, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing client needs promptly and effectively.
Report Adverse Events within specified timeframes to ensure compliance.
Stay updated on policy and procedural changes, creating and completing accurate referrals and applications.
Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Maintain patient accounts from initial contact through final approval/denial, ensuring a seamless experience.
Conduct outbound calls for patient follow-ups and confirmations, showcasing your exceptional communication skills.
Interact with patient referral sources to process new applicants, fostering valuable relationships.
Demonstrate your superior multitasking abilities by prioritizing multiple assignments with efficiency.
Educate callers with effective strategies and processes, going the extra mile to provide an exceptional experience.
Experience And Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ideally, 2-4 years of related experience and/or training in a call center or customer service environment.
Bilingual proficiency would be a significant advantage.
Familiarity with insurance billing methods and general pharmacy operations preferred.
Technologically savvy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and call center software.
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and multitask effectively while conversing.
A problem solver with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
