Job Description
Sell what you love. For us and millions of users across the globe, that’s Spotify. Join the Sales team and you’ll build the relationships that help grow our business in existing markets and beyond. We don’t just sell creative solutions to our clients and partners, we help to shape them; using our expert knowledge of ad products, sales channels and the industry to impact the way the world experiences music and podcasts.

Our mission at Spotify is to unlock the potential of human creativity—by giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art and billions of fans the opportunity to enjoy and be inspired by it. Join the Operations team and you’ll manage the campaigns that help grow our business in existing markets and beyond. We don’t just sell advertising solutions to our clients and partners, we use our expert knowledge of ad products, ad platforms and the industry to impact the way the world experiences music and podcasts.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, experienced digital ad operations leader to join our Campaign Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, coaching and growing the skills and expertise of the campaign managers in your region. You will partner with your team members, other Campaign Management leads and leaders in Sales, Account Management and beyond to ensure that we successfully execute our clients’ advertising campaigns and achieve our ambitious business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Access and analyze our performance data, clearly communicating key data points, historical findings and relevant advertiser research to internal partners and clients
  • Be a product and process subject-matter expert, relied upon for product functionality and capability questions and/or media plan recommendation questions throughout the client lifecycle
  • Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting and mentorship using a client-centric approach to ensure your team has the tools needed to make optimization recommendations, meet campaign objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for your campaign managers and your colleagues across the business
  • Build relationships with each campaign manager on your team, developing and coaching them in both daily performance and long-term career growth
  • Proactively partner with your manager and peer campaign management leads to ensure that we are continuously improving our processes and systems, maximizing the efficiency of our campaign managers and the value they bring to our clients
  • Liaise and develop strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams to deliver cohesive best-in-class customer service to our clients
  • Ask questions to uncover needs of customers and key partners, appropriately positioning Spotify’s capabilities and value in a way that drives client interest and campaign performance

Who You Are

  • You have excellent dexterity with the Google and Microsoft suites of products, including Excel and PowerPoint, and have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • You understand the technical foundations of digital media, podcasts and programmatic mediums and have experience proactively identifying solutions to problems
  • You have a Bachelor's degree
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience managing a team with members in remote locations
  • You are experienced with Google Ad Manager and/or Megaphone
  • You understand the importance of building relationships and alignment across internal teams and within client organizations to meet mutual goals
  • You demonstrate the ability to think creatively, proactively problem-solve and efficiently communicate internally and externally
  • You have a minimum of 7 years experience in media operations on the publisher or buy side
  • You are fluent in 3rd party tracking vendors, including brand studies, viewability, and other relevant industry technology
  • You are a highly organized multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, analytical and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • You are a passionate, accountable, creative and team-focused individual that will exemplify Spotify’s values

Where you'll be

  • We’ve introduced Work From Anywhere to give you more options!
  • While we will ask you to pop into the office from time to time, we are giving you the flexibility to work from home should you choose to do so.
  • Working hours? We operate within the PST time zone for collaboration.

The United States base range for this position is $116,547 - $166,496, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. Spotify is an equal opportunity employer. You are welcome at Spotify for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or what’s playing in your headphones. Our platform is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all thrive, contribute, and be forward-thinking! So bring us your personal experience, your perspectives, and your background. It’s in our differences that we will find the power to keep revolutionizing the way the world listens.

Spotify transformed music listening forever when we launched in 2008. Our mission is to unlock the potential of human creativity by giving a million creative artists the opportunity to live off their art and billions of fans the chance to enjoy and be passionate about these creators. Everything we do is driven by our love for music and podcasting. Today, we are the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service.
