About Emergence Software:

Emergence Software is an acquirer of third-party applications in enterprise software ecosystems. Backed by ~$20M of committed equity capital from The Pritzker Organization, our team of founders and investors is on a mission to build a suite of best-in-class apps across B2B software ecosystems. Location: Hybrid – preference for San Francisco Bay Area or New York City Area.

The Role:

Emergence is looking for a hungry Founding Strategy & Operations teammate to join our fast-growing team. Your objective is to build a new investment platform. This will require managing projects across our deal sourcing, deal execution, and operating organizations. This will likely involve answering board-level strategy questions (e.g., identifying investment themes, determining operating model across portfolio companies), standing up functional teams, managing due diligence workstreams, leading value creation initiatives, and codifying what we learn to build Emergence’s playbooks. This role requires thinking as an enterprise software investor.

Who You Are:

•3+ years of experience in management consulting or professional equivalent

•Proven ability to independently manage unstructured and complex projects

•Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills

•Passionate about investing, with a strong understanding of fundamental business analysis, and an outstanding academic and professional record
