Title: Business Project Analyst

Location: Morris Plains, NJ - REMOTE

Duration: 5 months contract role

Job description:

• The Analyst will leverage professional communications skills and experience to identify opportunities to assist a high-performing team, improve partner engagement, and create an exceptional client and member experience. Additional expectations include developing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners across the Enterprise to recommend and implement process enhancement for service excellence.
• The Business Project Analyst will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for prescription plan communications, primarily for member, patient, and provider audiences. The day-to-day responsibilities within the lifecycle include assessing, preparing, and submitting communications for internal review and collaborating with internal partners to ensure timely mailing or other forms of delivery to intended audiences. The internal Communication Review Process (CRP) consists of a panel of internal subject-matter experts. The Analyst will monitor panel feedback and approval and communicate status to business partners. If mailing is needed, the Advisor will work as a liaison between business partners and the internal team that prepares mailings for release to print vendor.

The Business Project Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage timelines and status for multiple projects, establishing priorities and closely monitoring and reporting on daily progress.
• Evaluate requests for CRP review readiness and ensure delivery of quality communications while protecting Express Scripts' brand and relationships with clients.
• Assist business partners with their project submissions when needed.
• When needed, have the ability to handle general proofreading, make minor updates to content, and adhere to style guide, branding and tone.
• Collaborate with team and business partners to share recommendations and requirements from the CRP Panel; Use professional acumen to identify preventive measures and process improvement opportunities.
• Organize/lead or attend daily meetings with team members and internal meetings with business partners and project stakeholders as needed.
• When needed, work with internal partners to ensure timely mailing or other delivery to intended audience.
• Serve as a team subject-matter expert; Develop summaries to demonstrate plan progress, actionable insights, and key metric.
• Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to ensure barriers/obstacles to quality/process improvements are removed and necessary support is always provided.
• Immediately escalate known issues and/or risks to appropriate management.
• Provide thought leadership in day-to-day project responsibilities and in broader scope to benefit the department and wider business.
• Collaborate with team and business partners to evaluate requirements and/or develop new procedures, processes, or policy solutions to address complex business needs.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer-focused mindset and oral, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem solve and assess projects to ensure alignment with business strategy and requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite required.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills and success, including cross-organizational initiatives.
• Passion for learning, teaching and motivating others despite complex content/processes; exhibit a positive attitude.
• Detail oriented with strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with a project management tool in general, and with Jira and Confluence specifically, is highly preferred.
• Ability to leverage knowledge base to come up to speed quickly on new processes, new business areas, and new organizational initiatives.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
