Job Description

THIS IS NOT A ROLE WITH FORCEBRANDS


Position Summary

The Business Analyst will support the Strategy & Analytics Senior Manager in generating

data-driven insights related to business performance to inform strategies that drive growth and

operational improvements for the Brands. They will track performance of marketing

initiatives including promotional and paid media programs to inform budget allocation and

optimization, and will closely monitor in-market sales to identify problem areas and trends. The

Business Analyst will also play a key role in analyses informing key strategic business

questions including cost optimization, assortment, price architecture and NRM. Candidate

should have strong communication skills and the ability to distill large and complex data sets

into clear, actionable insights for a variety of audiences with varying levels of expertise.


Primary Responsibilities

● Translate complex data into understandable and actionable insights for both technical and

non-technical audiences, including key stakeholders and upper management

● Monthly tracking of POS (point of sale) performance to identify trends, opportunities, and

problem areas

● Shipment and consumption trend modeling to inform demand and supply planning (S&OP

process)

● Analytics support on key strategic business questions including price architecture,

assortment optimization, and net revenue management

● Marketing campaign performance analysis to inform investment levels, budget allocation,

and audience targeting

● Management and monitoring of promotional programs, including coupon redemption

tracking and promotional effectiveness analysis to guide optimization and investment

● Analyses for key retailer presentations as needed

● Analytics support for broader organizational needs, including CEO and Yellow Wood board

● Tactical budget management (POs, actualization, sample tracking, etc)

● Collaborate closely with marketing teams, data analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data

integrity, share insights, and align on strategic priorities.


Primary Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Marketing Analyst, preferably in a fast-paced

marketing or e-commerce environment.

● Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Nielsen/IRI and

data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate complex data into

actionable insights.

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings

effectively to diverse audiences.

● Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Experience with predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning a plus
