Business Control Management Jobs

Duties: Coordinate, design and document internal control processes to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and evaluate potential risk of non-compliance. Review, analyze and interpret regulatory rules, processes, procedures and updates in local and Latin American countries. Support the preparation of responses to regulatory agencies showing compliance controls and efforts. Contribute to proposals for internal operational changes to bolster control and compliance efforts. Perform ongoing, end-to-end, financial control-based operational risk assessment for financial and banking operations and develop robust control environment to support ongoing operational risk assessment and mitigation, including providing frameworks for developing \"best practice\" standards in response to issues that arise. Seek to mitigate operating risk across functions by proactively identifying and resolving operational risk exposures. Facilitate execution of control programs, such as Control and Operational Risk Self-Assessment (including Legal Entity Assessment, Risk Event Reporting, Executive Governance meetings and control forums, Front Office Supervision Dashboard, Intraday P&L and Risk Alert Monitoring, etc.) working with other Business Control Management team members and key stakeholders, such as Risk Management team, Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal and Compliance. Prepare and present monthly Business Control Forums, E-Trading Control Forum and Business Control Committee highlighting key areas of global business control environment for senior management. Partner with LatAm, EMEA and APAC colleagues to ensure consistency across global business control landscape. Support Compliance & Operational Risk and Audit testing. Participate in preparing and responding to key regulatory inquiries and initiatives from US and Local LatAm regulators.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Business Control Management, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Control Program Management, Business Manager, Compliance, Accountant or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Fixed Income products, including FX E-Trading; Liaising with financial regulators, including LatAm financial regulators, regarding local regulatory requirements; Benchmarks, including FX, WMR, PTAX, BFIX; FIX industry protocol; Trading and Execution venues on "order lifecycle" data capture regulatory requirements in LatAm; End-to-end fixed income product lifecycle and controls.
