Position: Business Analyst/Fuels Compliance Analyst -6495

Position Type: Contract

Position Location: Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

Administration of environmental fuel credit transactions, including processing transactions, reconciliation, analysis, and validation of data

Frequent interaction with various business partners, front office (traders and schedulers) and back-office(billing)team members and third parties

Fuel transaction reconciliation, data entry, internal reporting

Participation in projects as needed to identify and implement business process improvement opportunities

Basic/Required:

• Proven commitment to accuracy and timeliness
• Demonstrated attention to detail Proven commitment to accuracy and timeliness
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Preferred:

• Knowledge of LCFS credits, RIN (renewable identification number) credits, and/or fuel blending activity a plus
• Proven ability to master back-office systems
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Technical aptitude to learn quickly and become self-sufficient
• Knowledge of SAP a plus
• Experience with clean products commercial operations
• Ability to work independently across multiple areas with a high level of self-initiative and drive
• Knowledge of Commercial trading/scheduling and operations businesses
