Job Summary
As a member of Human Resources, the Benefits Analyst is responsible for analyzing, evaluating and administering corporate benefit programs and retirement plans. A high level of analytical reasoning is required for the position as well as an ability to communicate effectively to various departments and leaders throughout the organization. The Benefits Analyst will utilize a solid working knowledge of Human Resources practices encompassing administration, organization, and workflow. The Benefits Analyst will be utilizing advanced technical skills to perform analysis and reporting related to the reconciliation and integrity of benefit plans, testing of processes and system design, and support the auditing of plans for consistent administration and compliance with plan documents and regulations.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s in Business or Healthcare Administration
Experience
Preferred: 1-2 years of prior HR experience
Skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Proficient in all Microsoft programs; high level proficiency in Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
Ability to write effective documentation on processes and procedures.
Ability to make routine decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
