Treatment Coordinator - Queens - Dental

Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned
• Educate patient on individual treatment plan for given diagnosis
• Send pre-estimates and follow up with patients
• Maintain patient relation, discussing patient’s benefits and treatment options when applicable
• Provide knowledge of dental CPT codes to staff when required
• Verify and explain patient’s benefits eligibility as needed
• Take care of difficult patients and doing public relation calls to patients when necessary
• Assist office manager to prepare monthly revenue reports
• Keep treatment acceptance rate within office goals
• Assist the dentists, as well as the hygienists, receptionists, dental manager, and other members of the Dental staff
• Assist patients with financing options, insurance questions, and treatment concerns
• Educate patients and community groups on basic routine oral health education
• Assist in training new staff of their assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Background in 4-handed dentistry experience preferred
• Medical or Dental Assistant training preferred
• Dental Assistant Certification preferred
