Job Description

Who we're looking for

As a key member of the People & Places Total Rewards team, the Benefits Analyst will provide support to Global Benefits team activities and participate in initiatives that will have a real impact on supporting an evolving business.

The successful candidate in this role brings experience in US benefits programs and delivery and enjoys problem solving in a dynamic environment. You are not afraid to independently prioritize multiple assignments. You are innovative and go beyond the status quo. You know how to establish great relationships and partner with our vendors to ensure we are optimizing our resources. You are agile and excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You readily adapt to any situation. Strong interpersonal skills are important to optimally collaborate across different functional teams in a highly multifaceted and matrix environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Research, analyze and respond to requests from Employees, Payroll, Accounting and Finance
  • Additional collaboration with broker & other vendor partners
  • Partner with the operations team in process design, process changes, identification of existing programs and any process improvement opportunities.
  • Handle employee case escalations including investigations and resolution
  • Take on various other benefits related projects/analysis as needed
  • Support team in annual Benefits renewal planning for US, Canada and LatAm
  • Implement relevant process improvement changes based on escalated cases

Take lead on content management:

  • TR-Benefits articles, well-being calendar/COMET and compliance calendar
  • Update and maintain new hire resources
  • Curate annual enrollment, renewal, and ongoing enablement materials

Support data management including:

  • Compliance and audit related reporting/submissions
  • Partner to People Services & HRIS team to maintain Workday effectiveness related to Benefits transactions
  • Support billing and procurement operations for team
  • Participate in ongoing market surveys, benchmark studies
  • Support open enrollment configuration, testing, launch and enablement
  • Benefits operations efficiency efforts
  • Ensure data integrity across all carriers and troubleshoot data errors as needed
  • Carrier data integrity

What you bring to the role

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • 2+ years of experience in Benefits administration in a Workday environment
  • Proficient in Google-suite programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in benefits and wellness program administration at the US and global level
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources, Business Management or Accounting

In this role, you’ll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We’ll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together–even when we’re apart. Being digital first doesn’t mean we’re digital only. You’ll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $64,000.00-$96,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
