Aws Administrator Jobs

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement new network infrastructure using routing, firewalls and VPNs.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that systems and infrastructure meet our company's needs.
• Manage and monitor backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, system performance, and security.
• Monitor and maintain our company's systems and infrastructure on AWS
• Work with senior systems administrators to maintain and improve system availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Keep up to date with new AWS features and services and make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures related to our systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems primarily with some Windows/Mac experience
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• 2+ years of experience in systems administration or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; corresponding experience in one of these fields is acceptable.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Experience working with AWS services, such as EC2, VPC, S3, CDK, CodeCommit, EKS and RDS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Comptia Network+
• AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
