Aws Project Administrator Jobs

Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems primarily with some Windows/Mac experience

Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

Manage and monitor backups and disaster recovery procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; corresponding experience in one of these fields is acceptable.

2+ years of experience in systems administration or a related field

Experience working with AWS services, such as EC2, VPC, S3, CDK, CodeCommit, EKS and RDS

8+ years of project management experience.

Good understanding of enterprise processes and how they tie into demand management and delivery (SDLC, PMLC, Jira, ServiceNow, Agile methodologies).

Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure & associated technologies/products (AWS environment experience, a plus).

Project Management Professional (PMP) certificatio

Experience with facilitating the discussions of large-scope IT Cloud Infrastructure projects that require coordination across the enterprise.

Strong analytical/quantitative and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

6+ yrs of IT/Engineering PM

Local to SF, Bay Area (or willing to relocate)

Consideration given to anyone with prior Healthcare, BioTech, Pharma, Medical Device or Life Science domain xp.

Review requests and incidents for management escalation as needed

Coordinate closely with management, client, peers, and external organizations to ensure requests and incidents are addressed completely and efficiently

Ensure sufficient technical details for submission of change requests (CRs) and incidents to external managed service providers (MSPs)

Experience using a request tracking system (e.g., Atlassian Jira and Service Now)

Experience with CoTS, GoTS, and Open Source Software (Installation and Configuration)

Accurate and complete written and verbal communication skills
