Avp, Nursing Education & Professional Development

The Nursing AVP for Inspira Health will be responsible/accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and ongoing management of our clinical nursing departments. Key areas of responsibility include network development, physician/provider relations, partnership with operations, clinical care, safety/quality, oversight of financial performance, and representation within the Inspira Health system initiatives. The AVP is accountable for assuring nursing practice excellence and meeting quality and financial targets. The AVP reports directly to the Vice president of Nursing and is responsible for all nursing clinical operations and the delivery of health care that meets the emerging need for value (cost, quality, and service) and in keeping with Inspira's Mission, Vision and Values. This position requires an effective, productive, and collaborative working relationship with other disciplines, as well as operational leaders across the network. The AVP will foster an environment of professional involvement, excellence, inclusiveness and promote an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
