The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning and executing campaigns for JOJA on various organic social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engage the community, and expand the social following. This position will report to the Creative Director of Social.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stay updated on new technology, platform enhancements, macro trends, and competitor activities to apply them to strategic plans.
- Drive collaboration strategy and ideation for social media at JOJA.
- Generate reports on social key performance indicators (KPIs) and track JOJA's goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Capture content both at home and during photoshoots.
- Lead the development and execution of social media strategies for the JOJA brand across various channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, and emerging platforms like Snapchat.
- Oversee the execution of the Instagram grid, ensuring alignment with marketing timelines, goals, and deadlines.
- Manage influencer outreach and tracking.
- Oversee and manage campaign planning, content calendars, publishing, reporting, and optimization across JOJA's social channels.
- Manage day-to-day posting on social channels and execute strategies across multiple platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
- Develop social shot lists and oversee organic asset requirements.
- Identify weekly trends.
- Manage social creative briefs, tickets, and asset requests for JOJA's content.
- Create weekly content plans for JOJA's TikTok and Instagram.
- Work with in-house creative teams, content creators, and external brand partners to create engaging and shareable content for JOJA.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners at JOJA to ensure comprehensive marketing campaigns.
- Interact daily with the JOJA community answering comments, DMs, and engaging with relevant content and creators
- Interact with customers through JOJA's social media accounts.
- Support social e-commerce initiatives, including Facebook and Instagram Shops, TikTok Shopping, and organic boosting efforts.
- Conceptualize and schedule engaging daily Instagram stories to encourage audience engagement, convey the brand story, and drive sales.
What You Can Bring:
- Experience in the fitness and/or fashion industries is a plus.
- Can-do attitude, adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working directly with influential creators with a focus on digital platforms.
- Proficiency in content creation, copywriting, and social channel management.
- 4+ years of experience working in social media, with a proven track record of ideating and executing talent-centered campaigns.
- Ability to pitch and execute innovative concepts quickly.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking while maintaining communication.
