How You’ll Fly

You’ll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:

• Characterizing protein and nucleic acid contaminants using new techniques and equipment.
• Applying technical expertise to develop next generation in vitro assays.
• Developing and creating new technologies enabling new lentivirus therapies.
• Building new processes to drive higher purity preparations of lentivirus.

What You’ll Bring

You’re the bird we’re looking for if you have:

• Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of described experience.
• Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Cell Biology, or a related biological science plus one (1) year of experience as a Scientist, or other occupation/position/job title involving experience in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience may be gained concurrently and must include one (1) year in each of the following:

• Transfection, cell-based assays, or molecular assays including ELISA and qPCR
• Working in a team environment including meeting deadlines, and prioritizing and balancing work from multiple individuals
• Designing and analyzing experiments independently, with minimal supervision
• Bioreactor processes Viral vectors
• Hands-on experience with upstream mammalian cell culture process
