Takeda Vaccines Inc. is seeking a Process Development Scientist I in Cambridge, MA with the following requirements: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 30 months of related experience. Prior experience must include: Maintain mammalian cell lines (to extend and store tumor and T cell lines) for cell therapy research; produce Dengue viral titers from upstream process (cell passages) to downstream process (viral clarification and concentration); develop sample preparation assays/methods and detect metabolites from spent media samples with REBEL 908 and YSI; analyze metabolites (amino acids) to determine depletion factors from spent media of Dengue Vero cell lines based on cell growth phase and viral production phase media; assist in producing ZIKA viral titers using Pall Icellis Nano bioreactors in upstream process and concentrating ZIKA viral product in downstream process. Up to 20% remote work allowed.
