The Associate Product Marketing Manager Position
Sunnova Energy is searching for a Associate Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for owning and driving the launch of new products and services for Sunnova’s new Business Markets segment. This role will require working across the business and will also maintain and enhance existing products to ensure market penetration. This individual will also be responsible for crafting the messaging and positioning for our new finance offerings, rate structures, and additional services offered by Sunnova. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. As part of the products team, this role will participate in one of the fastest growing and most transformational industries for this generation, driving adoption of solar in existing and new markets, as well as contributing to the evolution of the company and the category.
Associate Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities
- Collaborates with a cross-functional team to create buyer personas to understand their pain points, drivers, and what resonates with each person in the buying process.
- Works closely with the brand management team and web team in the development and implementation of product content and collateral materials.
- Develops and communicates the value proposition of our solar service plans to the sales team and creates sales tools to support the selling process of our solution.
- Works closely with the product development team to develop and maintain product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products and services offering in the market.
- Creates and updates collateral, including proposals, to be used for a variety of audiences and target segments, highlighting product strengths, features and benefits.
- Works with the marketing team to educate them on the products/services we offer, as well as work with Integrated Marketing to create a marketing program to support the launch of new products and services in the solar and energy technology space.
- Educates internal stakeholders on Sunnova solutions for businesses.
- Owns the content and document management of all solar marketing materials .
- Develop compelling use cases to illustrate the value of our solutions for businesses.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years in product marketing, including experience in product lifecycle management and value proposition development.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Proven history of creating effective marketing programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience in Financial Offerings or Products, Technology, Software Applications, Energy Management, and/or Solar Products
