This People Operations role will assist in developing, executing, and improving our current human resources processes. They will oversee human resources systems, create/ execute people processes and collaborate closely with various business leaders to ensure service delivery capabilities are effectively and efficiently delivered within the larger business. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources. They will be responsible for providing reliable and consistent guidance in the following areas:


  • Benefits and Legal Compliance
  • Team Building and Engagement
  • HR Systems and People Processes
  • Assist with vendor contracts and processing
  • Point of Contact for associates regarding HR -related activities and inquires
  • Onboarding and Orientation
  • Reporting and Compliance


What you'll do:


  • Composure and confidentiality required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Monitor and identify people trends through research, analysis, and preparation of reports.
  • Organize and support staffing initiatives such as coordinating team events, creating requisitions, assessing talent, performing phone screens and leading new hire processes.
  • Successfully collaborate to build and maintain relationships with various departments and team members.
  • Coordinate varying time-sensitive tasks related to recruiting and retaining talent
  • Effectively navigate HR systems and maintain team member documents.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Champion cultural values by role modeling behaviors and expectations.
  • Review the offboarding process and collaborate with other departments to appropriately and timely execute the offboarding activities.
  • Ability to help develop, implement, support, and review all Human Resource Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Leadership and instructional aptitudes needed to provide training on policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employee benefits and serve as a liaison between company and vendors/brokers
  • Assist in developing onboarding/ training/ engagement/ and other general HR tools and resources.
  • Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including assisting with job descriptions, posting advertisements, and assisting with onboarding.
  • Ensure cyclical HR processes are communicated with clarity and implemented with defined expectations.
  • Maintain electronic storage of team member files,' Handbook' and organization charts.
  • Supervise and track timely completion/ submission of required HR forms and processes.
  • Promote an Open Door Culture by engaging with staff and appropriately responding to questions/ inquiries.
  • Assist with the administration and guidance of leave of absence matters.
  • Triage ER concerns and partner with HR leaders to ensure grievances are addressed in a timely manner.
