THE ROLE
Our Associate Consultants are primarily responsible for supporting recruiting efforts of a search by actively recruiting candidates for Consultant evaluation, conducting a preliminary screening against “Candidate Must Haves” (in addition to any other criteria as designated by the Consultant) and scheduling interview calls for the Consultant to speak with candidates.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with Consultants in a 1:1 model on search engagements.
- Function as a contributing member of the engagement team, understanding the growth, trends, culture, and technical/operational specifics and challenges in client’s industries, companies, divisions, and groups.
- Conduct initial candidate phone screens to determine a candidate’s interest level and high-level fit for the role in consideration.
- Create the internal search “Sell Sheet”, collaborating with search teams to develop an effective search strategy, translating the client’s strategic corporate objectives into human capital needs.
- Attend launch, validation, and status calls when appropriate.
- Conduct reference calls with Peers and subordinates as assigned by the Consultant.
- Consistently meet and exceed firm metrics and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to speak to senior level executives regarding various industries and functions.
- Preference for individuals who have executive level recruiting experience, but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
- An exceptional ability to sell candidates on opportunities.
- Serve as a proactive member of the Morgan Samuels team.
EDUCATION
An undergraduate degree is required.
