Assistant Property Manager
Pay: $19.00-21.00Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am- 6:00 pm
Position Overview: The assistant property Manager will support the Property Manager and oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance. They will also assist in responding to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Position Description:• Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions and accurate documentation.• Address tenant complaints or issues in a timely manner, resolving conflicts to maintain positive tenant relations.• Assist in the leasing process by coordinating property showings, conducting applicant screenings, and preparing lease agreements.• Ensure accurate and timely processing of lease applications, including verifying applicant information, conducting credit checks, and reviewing references.• Assist in lease renewals, including preparing renewal documents, negotiating terms, and communicating with tenants to secure renewals.• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of lease agreements, rental payments, and security deposits.
Position Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management is a plus.• Proven experience in a similar role or related field, demonstrating knowledge of property management practices and procedures.• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and colleagues.• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.• Proficiency in using property management software and MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Knowledge of local housing regulations, leasing practices, and fair housing laws is desirable.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
