Bell Flight is seeking several positions for A&P Mechanic II or III for our Miami OEM Facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bell's Service Center located in South Florida provides a “one-stop-shop” to enhance helicopters from the smallest avionics upgrade to a complete aircraft rebuild.

Position Summary:

• Agusta: A109 Series
• Bell Helicopter Models: 206, 212, 222, 230, 407, 412, 427, 429 and 430
• FAA Part 145 Power Plant Inspection and Repair Station Capabilities
• Bahamian Civil Aviation Approval Based on our FAA Part 145 Capabilities
• Airbus Models: AS350, EC130, EC135 and EC155
• Bell Helicopter Models: 206A, 206B, 206L, 212, 230, 407, 412, 427, 429 and 430
• Rolls Royce Models: 250-C20, 250-C20R, 250-C28, 250-C30, 250-C40 and 250-C47 Series
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell commercial aircraft.
• Turbomecca Models Arriel and Arrius Series
• Perform field maintenance on the following Bell commercial aircraft:
• Pratt & Whitney Models: PT6, PT6T Series, PW206 and PW207 Series

Education requirement:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Position requirements:

• Note: Must purchase or own tools required to perform job duties
• Ability to work overtime if required
• Hold a current passport, and be able to travel if needed to support customers
• 2 years of previous commercial helicopter mechanic experience (additional years of experience may qualify selected candidate for a level 3 position/pay grade)
• Ability to be a team player and take directions in a FAA Part 145 environment
• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently, and to team lift 50 lbs.
• A&P certificate required
• Attention to detail, and ability to stand and work on top of aircraft, from ladders, and in confined areas for extended periods, both in and out of doors
