Job Summary:

We are looking for an Industrial Mechanic Certified Welder! This may be the job for you! You would be responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical equipment associated with the Reedy Creek Improvement District utilities across the Walt Disney World Resort. The role may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces.

The starting rate of pay is $26.29

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections at lift stations and manholes
• Install, maintain, modify and repair equipment such as generators, compressors, pump, bailers, pipelines, conveyance systems and utility equipment
• Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to pass the Standards of Pipeline Assessment; Standard API 1104
• Valid Florida class D driver’s license
• 4 years’ welding experience

• Fixed 5G
• Fixed 2F
• Fixed 4F

• Demonstrate the ability to interpret blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in welding
