Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. Core Responsibilities

  • Commitment to the ideals of developing a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among customers and improve value for all stakeholders.
  • Be an IT PMO Liaison and provide guidance and support to project managers in ensuring IT PMO processes.
  • Develop and deliver well organized analytical presentations.
  • Support the development of standards, processes, tools, and training to facilitate project management excellence in Information Technology (IT) projects and/or programs.
  • Create and maintain IT PMO and Project Management Champions communications/meeting plan(s).
  • Provide insight for corrective action that is needed to ensure project management standards are adhered to and applied consistently.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
  • Liaison with the Corporate Finance organization to support the portfolio management (governance) process.
  • Work with the IT PMO Section Manager and IT PMO team to identify development opportunities and areas of improvement for the IT PMO's processes.
  • Assist and support the deparmtent by performing business activities as follows:
  • Apply project management skills to track deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely delivery.




Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business Administration, Communications, Finance, Computer Science, or similar analytical discipline and Two (2) years of work experience or
  • Associate degree A minimum of four (4) years of work experience



Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience participating on teams in a support capacity Required
  • Experience with Oracle iProcurement/iSupplier/BI/other Oracle modules Preferred
  • Have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Required
  • Experience with Primavera or PI360 a plus Preferred
  • Have excellent customer service skills Required
  • Have the ability to make critical decisions and demonstrate sound judgment in diverse project assignments Required
  • Experience in a business analysis capacity, e.g. business management, technology analysis/development, finance, audit, budget/cost management, planning/forecasting, scheduling, consulting or corporate shared service function Required
  • Possess strong financial analytical and process development skills Required

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required


Physical Demands

  • Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for entire shift
  • Must be able to read small print and symbols.


Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
